Tom studied IT at college and eventually chose to specialise in front-end development, teaching himself HTML, Sass and JavaScript. He joined Hydra as a junior web developer because he has a real passion for the industry and is keen to pick up new skills

Thomas is a Developer at Hydra Creative, known for his hands-on approach, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement. Since joining Hydra three years ago as a Junior Developer, he has steadily progressed to a Middleweight role, earning a reputation for reliability, technical skill, and creative problem-solving.

Having taught himself the fundamentals of web development during the 2020 lockdown, Thomas brought a self-motivated and inquisitive mindset to the team from day one. He has since honed his skills across PHP, HTML, jQuery, CSS, and JavaScript, contributing to both WordPress websites and fully bespoke development projects for a range of major clients across multiple industries and disciplines.

Thomas has played a key role in delivering some of Hydra’s most technically impressive builds to date, always with a focus on functionality, performance, and user experience. His dedication to learning never stops, he’s continually seeking out new tools, frameworks, and techniques to stay ahead and further enhance his work.
