Lauren is Hydra Creative’s Head of Design, bringing over six years of professional experience and a passion for crafting visually engaging, results-driven design solutions. For the past two years, she has led the creative team at Hydra, delivering standout branding and website designs for more than 40 clients across a range of sectors.

Lauren’s creative journey began in Sheffield, where she graduated with first-class honours in Film Production. Her early freelance work, designing posters, social media graphics, and beer badges for a local pub chain, sparked a deeper interest in design and visual communication. This led her to pursue a Master’s in Graphic Design, where she graduated with distinction, further refining her skills in branding, layout, and digital storytelling.

Before joining Hydra, Lauren worked at a global digital experience analytics company, where she discovered her passion for digital design and developed a strong foundation in designing for user experience. Her work is defined by strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on creating design solutions that align with both client goals and user expectations.

As Head of Design, Lauren not only leads on creative direction but also mentors her team, sharing knowledge, encouraging experimentation, and supporting each designer’s professional growth. She fosters a collaborative environment where skills are continuously developed, and ideas are explored with confidence and clarity.

Her ability to balance creative vision with practical execution, and to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues, makes her a key figure in driving successful, high-impact outcomes across all design projects.
